SUMMARY:Crafternoon- Botanical Mandalas
DESCRIPTION:Join us for ‘Crafternoon at the Library’ where we dive into the art of eco printing botanical mandalas. We will experiment with different colored flowers and leaf shapes to produce a unique print. The vibrant colors of leaves and flowers are easy to preserve by pounding them to release their natural dyes onto paper. \nWe will take you through the entire process from how to prep your paper to carefully hammering your botanical art piece into a permanent print. \nWe are keeping our Crafternoon programs small to maintain our COVID-19 safety protocols. Classes are limited to 8 people-exceptions will be made for a guardian/child duo- and registration is required. You can register by calling the library at 906-643-8318. Two times are available 11 AM – 12:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. \nMasks and social distancing are required.
